Usually, an aqeous solution is prepared and weighted.
Then the sheet is dipped (once, twice, you decide), and when the last drop of solution is collected in the container, the sheet is put to complete drying, and the solution is again weighted to calculate an estimate of product pr. blotter.

How would you absorb the blotter sublinguar, if it is coated?

You Need To Be Careful About The Paper Type

You do NOT want to use paper that has been bleached as the residual bleach can destroy the LSD. Most commercial paper is bleached, so you need to look specifically for "Un-Bleached" kind.
Some chemists mix the acid with small amount of water, then add a volatile solvent like 95% ethanol to speed up the drying process. (Don't use a poisonous solvent or one with residual denaturing crap)
