Chem books available.
« on: May 28, 2003, 10:00:00 AM »
SWIM has recently acquired the following books in electronic format (.PDF):

-Advanced Thermodynamics for Engineers by Desmond E Winterbone, 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
-Handbook of Solvents, edited by George Wypych, 2001 ChemTec Publishing.
-Lange's Handbook of Chemistry, 15th edition, John A. Dean, 1999 McGraw-Hill Inc. (This one is particularly useful)
-Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook, 7th edition, edited by Don W. Green/Robert H. Perry, 1997 McGraw-Hill, Inc.

Perry's and Lange's are fully cross-linked and indexed .PDF files, the other two are all in .PDF but the individual files are lacking the cross-linking.

Now the problem is, SWIM has no where to put these books. If anybody would like these, or has a place (FTP/HTTP space) where SWIM can make them publicly available just PM him (preferrably with a way to upload these somewhere).

SWIM has a highspeed FTP server and would be willing to host any and all chemistry e-books available for public access.  If you would like to share what you have please let me know and SWIM will make it happen.

and I found a lot of ebooks with the keywords "chemistry" and "chemical"
