Drug dealers of Franklin County, Ky.: Consider this post a piece of service journalism.

If you live in that area, and are frankly getting kinda sick of all the other drug dealers totally hurting your market share, then the local sheriff’s office has a solution for you.

Just complete and mail in this very short flier, which the Franklin County sheriff’s office has posted to Facebook. You can tell it’s for you because it says “Attention Drug Dealers” right there at the top. So simple, right?

“Is your Drug Dealing Competition Costing You Money?” the agency asks in the Facebook photo. “We offer a free service to help you eliminate your competition!”

Interested dealers can fill out the form using information about their competitors — like name, home and cell numbers, a residential address — and send it to the sheriff’s office. Because even drug dealers cannot escape paperwork, apparently.

“If someone uses that (letter) to remove a drug dealer out of our community, then I’ll take it,” Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton told the Lexington Herald­Leader.

The newspaper reported that Melton got the idea from the McIntosh County (Ga.) sheriff’s office,
which used the Franklin County Sheriff Law Enforcement flier in an ad placed last week in the Darien News, according to Fox Carolina. After the ad went viral, the newspaper took to Facebook to declare: “Advertising in The Darien News works!”

A McIntosh County deputy told the Fox affiliate last week that the ad had already generated a few tips. Melton, the Kentucky sheriff, told the Herald­ Leader that his own posting is likely to get some serious inquires, since “it’s getting a lot of play.”

It is not a matter of outlining a whole new series of methods that will allow you to increase your psychic abilities, or to remember your dreams, or to perform out-of-body gymnastics. It is rather a question or a matter of completely altering your approach to life, so that you no longer block out such natural spontaneous activity.

Dealers have been using the cops against the competition for decades. The cartels do it more then anyone. It is just part of the game. The only ones who don't know it is a very established part of the game are the naive and idealistic at the bottom of the game. Drug business is all about looking out for you and no one else. Your mom is even a threat. Just telling it like it is. If this is a problem for you then don't get in the game. There are no friends in the game.
