I wish it worked that way. But the hydro that is in meds is the bitartrate form and is soluable in water. Is there any substance where the bitartrate form is insoluable and the promethazine isnt or vise versa? Or is there a way to convert the hydro to a base without screwing up the solubility of promethazine in water ? Also does anyone know if there is any need to convert the hydro back to its bitartrate after removing the promethazine HCL, will it become unstable or breakdown if left as a base?
TIA,
