Even with a great post or idea, if you crosspost, you've just asking to kill your thread.  People will flood it with flames etc. 

Try thinking about a couple key words you could do a search for and then use them.  (here, at google, dogpile, yahoo etc.)

It doesn't really matter where you place your post if all you're looking for is replies.  If the thread is worthy of conversation, you won't need to hunt down replies, they will come to you.  If you don't get any replies within 48 hours of posting, it's usually a good hint that you should:
a. UTFSE
b. give up on the idea- it's probably worthless
c. do some more research on your own by UTFSE
d. UTFSE

If you don't have access to hypophosphorous acid or one of its salts, dont bother with this method.  There are others that are much more OTC.

Try doing a search for "twodogs" under the author and "p2p" in the subject/body field.  You'll get an OTC synthesis that anybody with motivation can complete.
