Curiosity on pill viability

Ive checked out all the posts regarding the 120mg variety extractions that bee's are having some success at. I am however curious if anybee has had any experience on the 120mg's that contain Naproxen sodium(220mg), along with the typical gacks(povidone,methocel,etc.). My only reason for inquiring is that SWIB had stumbled upon about 4000 of these(literaly found a bag of them), and would like to maybe help a less fortunate bee with a donation. These just seem to be riddled with all the latest gacks offered, and Baal was'nt too sure about their viability seeing how they are'nt really discussed. That leads Baal to believe that they are avoided for a reason, hence not much talk about them. I appreciate any input on this subject that is solely based on prior experience with the same.

My thinking after looking up all the inert crapola in the Merck, possibly water extract first to get that large volume of Naproxin salt out of the way. Then move onto the next round with all the really fancy crap in it that has to go somehow. These literally have every piece of junk that is just the worst of the worst & then some. Baal does find the strategies that are used by some to be rather interesting in their approaches. It has definately kept some bee's busy I'm sure.

DMF warning

baal: If these variety are the Dry Matrix Formulation(DMF), h2o as a first assault will fail miserably locking everything in a gel.
HPMC, & MCC in combination are known to be the two key components that make up the DMF.
Today they may have other h2o activated gelling agents in the picture depending on the formulation.
Ibee has never operated on analgesic type OTC pfed and rarely have others reported working with the naproxen/pfed.
It would be best to subject a small test batch to the intended approach first to make sure the h2o doesn't do more harm than good.
If you have the inactives list, that would be good and the Extract-A-Gaak bees might be better able to help formulate a plan of attack if that info is posted.

Naproxen is an odorless, white to off- white crystalline substance. It is lipid- soluble, practically insoluble in water at low pH and freely soluble in water at high pH. The octanol/ water partition coefficient of naproxen at pH 7.4 is 1.6 to 1.8. Naproxen sodium is a white to creamy white, crystalline solid, freely soluble in water at neutral pH.

Baal was'nt too hip on even an honest attempt at these, but figured that he may just do some of the research to help a less-fortunate bee have somewhat of a perspective on what they are up against here. So that will take some pressure off when a big failure comes up in the end, and everybody's scratching their head...wondering what went wrong...If it were Baal, there would be P2P brewing and the Gaaks would be mere folklore.......
