This is somthing that this bee would never have to do
AND never wants to....

BUT !  Some ideas for sublimation in the ghetto:

1. a ceramic coated pan with a glass bowl on top: the glass bwl containing ICE !
Ref Search on Post No 184918 , No 57290, UTFSE

2. a ghetto coldfinger made from a ' U shaped ' Florescant light bulb... Modified to have the electrical ends removed and flexible tubing attached....

Ice cold water to be pumper through the tube, with the tube stuck through a LARGE home made stopper to be fit into a HEAT resistant jar..

Sublime and scrape crystals from either the bowl bottom or the ghetto cold finger..

I'm sure there's more ideas out there

try searching the equipment forum on 'coldfinger'

Not really worth it.

If you've rinsed your I2 several times with H2O, then sublimation isn't going to achieve much benefit.
It's likely to cost yield and make collecting it difficult.

The purple gas is nice...
