Scaled up SPD ?

Has anyone had success with a method of SPD that is upscalable?
SWIE is considering piping in air w/aquarium pump to the distillation flask,with glass tubing from that flask into a reciever flask with acetone in it. The reception vessel will have a lid on it with ventilation to cut down on evaporation of the acetone prematurely. Any input will be appreciated

ok. SWIE will go test it out, bbl with results. This will be done on a batch of eudragit infested pfed from a test of barking burros methood(which seems quite worthless on the new gakk)Festers works, SPD works, so far the only two found by SWIE to bee effective.

at getting the vapors into another container. VM&P may turn out to be more practical than acetone, but you bee the judge.

SWIP tried something similar but without the air pump. It didn't work because he couldn't keep the vapor path warm enough to keep it from condensing before it got to the liquid.

SWIE is using a 3/4" glass tube bent accordingly(probably get most of the crystals there) experiments with sublimation have always done that. SWIE wants base to react and has spent too much time already(trying BB's method)and plans to evap acetone under vacuum, should be faster than crashing out of naptha. only problem might be if the acetone evaps out of reception flask. Its in a water bath so time will tell. bbl with results
