There's a good thread on para-acetylaminophenol (acetaminophen) somewhere.  500 g. for $11.00 or was it 250 g.?  Extract it from pills, recrystallize from water, hydrolyze it to remove the acetyl group and oxidize it to get p-benzoquinone.
