Title: soxhlet/thimble question
Post by: GOD on April 27, 2002, 06:38:00 PM
Lets say one were to get a soxhlet extractor for extraction of plant materials: rootbark, green plants etc...
what would bee's reccomend for a thimble?
is it better to get course, extra course?
glass? ceramic? cotton/disposable?
are there cheap alternatives that one can use? (swim was thinking possibly those non-bleached coffee filters for a semi big extractor..)

thanks
