Title: Tablet manufacture

Do you know any recipe to produce a nice tablet? The ones I've seen are either too tough or too soft (dusty and falling apart).
Considering that one wants to produce a 100mg of active ingredient (nothing illegal) , what would be the other components to get the whole tablet just right before pressing?

Unfortunately the only extraordinary thing I did was to type in "tablet manufacture" into google, and then choose the best link on the page...
