Is it accurate to determine your crystalization yield by :

( weight crystals / mol. weight of crystals ) divided by

( weight freebase / mol. weight of freebase )

or does solvent, water etc. is also taken in the crystals, if so is there any accurate way to account for it ?

BTW, here I will assume mol. weight of crystals equal to mol. weight of freebase + HCl ( 36.5 )

Same for hydrated crystal form ?
