2. Re: Method no. 1, it is significant that ammoniated water is used at a concentration of 25-30%
3. Re: Method no. 1, it is significant that the refinement with aqueous bromide is initiated at a rate of 60-90 liters/hour maintaining lithium carbonate ratio in the reactive mass at 60-90 grams/liter.  After that a rate of 30-50 liters/hour in the presence of said lithium carbonate.

Damn, I didn't know that producing lithium bromide would be that much of a pain in the ass. Boiling it with benzoic acid produces HBr, so it's worth it!

You could simple try this one:
Li2CO3 + 2HBr -> 2 LiBr + H2O + CO2
evap water until cristalls appear, suction filter, dry in evac desic, put in thightly sealed bottle because it's a bit hygroscopic.
