Does any one know what occurs when nitric oxide (NO) is bubbled into a strong aqueous NaOH solution?  Whenever I do this, hardly no gas escapes from the basic solution, meaning it must all react.

noj

NO reacts with water according to chemfinder.

Real men cook naked.
