dry acetone is generally used because you dont want the excess water in it sucking up the goods.  This can bee done with oven-baked epsoms salts, and some coffee filters.

or u can do what i do is use the same acetone all the time an boil your end pproduct in it. when the acetone is saturated with junk and gak it will look really nasty just boil it down and u will be left with a very nasty bit of shit. use clean dry acetone to clean this shit and u will be left with the little bit of product that was hiding in there
