SWIM was looking through his medicine cabinet one day, only to find to his shock and dismay that the illegal chemical butyrolactone was in his nail polish remover.  Not wanting to give John Ashcroft another reason to rape him of his civil iberties, but also being the eviromentalist he is and not wishing to waste the rest of the ingrediants in the nail polish remover, he wondered if he could isolate the GBL.  He sees no reason that the ingrediants listed below couldnt be slowly distilled from the GBL, unless distillation would cause said ingrediants to burst into flames. Any thoughts?  The ingrediants and respective boiling points are as follows:

Butyl Acetate (BP 126.3°C),Ethyl Acetate (BP 77 C), Isopropyl Alcohol, (BP 82.26°C), Butyrolactone (BP 204°C) Dibutyl Adipate (BP 149 C), Oil of Orange Peel (BP: 180)

swim tried cleaning up the same type of nail polish remover some time ago- cant remember what he did, he didnt try straight distillation though.  He remembers encountering a surficant (spelling?) that ended up forming an emulsion that wouldnt separate.  Use a column!
