I recently purchased some of Uncle Fester's books and found some of the directions to be a bit vague.  I don't know everything there is to know about chemistry, but I am comfortable enough with my skills.  I was thinking of using the hydrogenation bomb method, but cannot find descent directions on how to make it.  Even in the Advanced techniques of Clandestine Psychedelic and Ampetamine manufacture it doesn't say how to completely make it.  This may be a kind of generalized question but when Uncle Fester says to "filter it" how exactly do I go about doing that?  Also, which is the best method to make methampetamine?  Is it worth the hassle of producing phenylacetone and methylamine, or should I just use an ephedrine based recipe?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
