Suppose someone would like to make some EtNO2 from Sodiumethylsulfate. If the NaNO2 used was inpure mixed with some NaNO3 would there form any other products than nitroethan? The question is: Would it be a big problem if the NaNO2 used was mixed with some NaNO3?
