Let the acetone evaporate and proceed as usual.  With a reaction that size, it should only take a few hours.

Evap off the tone then do the wash...but!

All this was cooked on 99.5C for 3 hours and everything was going perfect.


Where is it written that a rxn under LongWetReflux conditions is going to be complete @ 3hours?
That calculation defy's scientific logic.
