 So. To my knowledge we need piperonylmethylketone to perform an al/hg reaction for mdma. Called also mdp2p. I was sure reading something that mdp2p is also call methyl ethyl ketone. Then imagine my surprise when I found by random walk on the net this stuff at low price and eliminating the vacuum process and all the kit of wacker oxidation method with safrole. After five minutes of excitiing moments. I verify formulas .... and... ips.... That's seems to don't fit (sorry I don't speak english well for moment). But please is can someone of you confirm me  that the following stuff can't be utilize as mdp2p in al/hg reaction of methyl man?

Methyl ethyl ketone
CH3COCH2CH3
2-Butanone; Butanone; Ethyl methyl ketone; MEK; Methyl acetone; Oxobutane

Methyl isobuty ketone
(CH3)2CHCH2COCH3
2-Methyl-4-pentanone; Isopropy-lacetone; Methyl-2-pentanone

MEK is useful with toulene to make benzaldehyde and then P2P
But is not particularly useful in the manufacture of MDp2p
