I can't comment on getting the p-fed back. Maybe add 300mLs of dh20 and a/b it. Don't know how the I2 would behave.

Anyway, can you tell me, wouldn't it make sense to react a small amount of the hypo with some I2 to check it?, before doing a 110gm reaction! Especially cos it's from an 'unknown' source...
