My introductions, let me give you them.
« on: June 03, 2010, 09:52:06 PM »
Hello!

I am Marakov and I am from Russian Federation. I have been over at the other not Russian site for a little while. I am new to English but not new to chemistry. My English gets better or worse depending on how much I have had to drink! :)

My chemistry stays mostly strong still.

I came here because I enjoy discussing the more advanced aspects of chemistry that I feel the other English site sometimes does not have.

My current interests are attempt to perfect Ultrasonicated Grignard reactions.

I hope to contribute to the community but I believe it will have to be mostly theoretical for now. It would be nice if this was acceptable.

Also hello to Sedit, I enjoy your writings that I have read at the other sites. They have been helpful.

Welcome! Yes theoretical is fine for now. That is what most of it is here anyways, but I think I can speak for most people it is always nice to hear what actually happens in the lab.

Glad to see you where and willing to contribute. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or issues with the site. I will be happy to try* and help.

Yes lab is best. I hope you understand my caution. If you check you will see I have register long ago but wait to post here now.

Spell-check is my good friend now. :)

Welcome to the Vespiary Maraikov. I spotted the Ultrasonicated Grignard reactions sometime back but just haven't had the time to look into it much further. I look forward to hearing about your experiments with this.

I wanted to send you a Private Message about Propenyl Benzenes and much more important things but I do not know how. There is no private button for me to do it.

The private message is the little bubble thing with IM on the side of it below everyones name.
I hope that helps?

I heard that Erny posted some of his modeling work with the CB1 receptor over there. Could you send me a link to that thread?

I looked but could not find it but did find many of Erny writing and I have learned more about cannabinoid chemistry then I ever wanted to know :)

I am sorry I was not helpful but I did spend a long time looking.

It really is a shame that the there is that language barrier between the hyperlab and then all of the English speaking people. :(

There is a English thread but it is disorganised. It is like we gave a mouse a little corner of whole house and all he can do is stay in the corner. It is not the best way to do that.

If only there were a way to translate it via google or something like that. However, it seems the HTTPS messes that up.

Yes because google will not accept SSL certificate it is shame because it can make things better.
You can try other translated service. Google for it :)

A way to help would be if you translate to other language before translate to English. Do it like this. More accurate.
