Title says it all really, this new black on black look is fucking hideous.

Surely there are other skins that can be enabled via profile that could be added? I looked and couldn't see any.

Really? I like this look but I guess its a matter of personal preference. Perhaps we could set it up so the user can chose from the many variations that Simple machines forums offer. This would allow the end user to have MANY options on what they want the site to look like.

You cant please everyone but give them enough options and they can please themselfs with ease.

What sort of security issues are we talking about here?

Is the creators imbeding something bad in the code.  It is open source correct can we not proof read all code prior to making it an option to ensure it wasnt tampered with in anyway?

Screw it, the default is going to be the default one for a while.
The more I thought about it, the more I started to hate the black on black theme.
This one seems to be the best and has the highest functionality out of all of them and is much easier on the eyes, plus it sort of carries the sites theme more so than the others.

Now, do others really need/want the other theme(s)? If so -- speak up, because if not, I might as well get rid of them, or not make it an option, since apparently that offers some sort of security issue. (though, I don't know what sort. lugh will have to chime in there)

Edit: Another reason for me wanting to only use one theme is, that if there is an issue with a member having trouble to see something, edit something, etc - it will make it a hell of a lot easier to find and solve the problem vs adding an additional variable, being the themes.

I found it really hard to differentiate different text input spaces, buttons etc with that awful black on black scheme. Not unusable but it made it hard to process mentally speaking and gave me a right headache.
