Dont want to spoil the party guys ......BUT ....... i had a look and had to turn it off after fighting with myself to watch it for 7.5 minutes . Its utter crap . Nice fantasy stuff and good for people to get stoned and listen to but total bollocks .

A lot of it doesnt fit together and the conclusions that they are talking about dont fit the facts that they are talking about . neither do the things that some people say fit with what others say . This is fact and that is fact and it means this ? Does it ? The film represents what i hate about pseudo scientific esoteric shit .

An example . Just because the amount of knowledge doubles every so often and those periods are getting shorter doesnt mean that one day things wiil go bang and we / computers will know everything and have all the answers  .......Remember each answer leads to other questions .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UH4erOQ43E ....... It doesnt mean that all knowledge has any relevance either ......... AND ....... knowledge isnt answeres ....... AND ...... A fuckin singularity !!!!! what has been said has NOTHING to do with a singularity ? Also trying to imply that the computational power of a computer that keeps increasing means that a point will come where they are intelligent is BOLLOCKS . Whats intelligence ? Just because a computer is "Intelligent" wouldnt mean that it can do anything with that intelligence and doesnt mean that they will take over or we will become obsolete . To do that the fuckers would have to have consciousness and free will . WE decide what they do not them .

The future might look android in one form or another but computers / technology are never going to creep out in the middle of the night behind our backs and decide to get rid of us because we are inferior because they cant think . We build it , we use it , we control it . Again consciousness and free will . Independant decission makeing .Shit ....pull the plug and the fuckers are lost . Tell an intelligent one the we will pull the plug and no matter how much control it has over other computer systems it still couldnt survive without us . Tell a computer to invent a time mmachine and its lost . Tell it to cure cancer and its lost no mater how much information it has at its disposal .

And the one person talks about kinowledge and the next talks about change . More kniowledge doesnt mean more change in life , in us , in the world .

How the fuck does any of what was said and what is happening point to the or an end of time ?

I`m gob smacked my brain and my mouth have gone out of sync because of the amount of bullshit that was shot at me in so short a time so maybe some of what i am saying is suboptimal .

Its typical Terrorist McKenna crap . OK big words and cool formulations ..... BUT ..... does it mean anything ? Has anyone ever read the text of what he said sometimes and then translated it into "normal" english  ? Edited it ? Because if one does a shit load of it is pure blah böah .
