There is a little mispelling in the article.

The compound named "h*******" is piperonal and compound number 10 is the h*****/floramelon.

What is compound 17 for the mescaline starting material?.... And the ONLINE publication date is 2010 but I believe the original publication date is 2005.

Compound 17 is 3,4,5-Trimethoxyphenylpropionic acid, CAS: 25173-72-2.

It is not an easily obtainable precusor.

For no.5, one could also go through the P2P, via destructive distillation of the lead or Ca salts, could they not? although yields may not be as good, likely not. Or is that reaction not compatible with aryl alkoxy substituents present?

 Sorr Tsog, me 'mad Matey',, I,, couldnt say,,however, in a few hours, upon my return I shall post the link to that data,, Its pretty interesting but most of it would be, "out of my league" ,,so I'll just give these "good sodoku's" to the 'faster processors' around here, running ALL SORTS of "wetware" as you so beautifully put it--but seems 'Do able'......And I'm getting an idea of just "how neat/nifty/unique and inspirational" the Collective 'wetware' around here is Just as you say......
