I've just read through this entire thread and I'm still a bit puzzled as to what the consensus is...

What I have learnt is that bitcoins and the silkroad are not 100% infallible, but how would it compare to real life transactions? Purchasing may be ok for personal use, but what if you have a desire to supply? A system like this would probably cut out most if not all the risky contacts you'd normally have; people who could very easily turn you in to lessen their own sentence.

A bit coin system and buyers on SR would allow you to receive funds, then package securely what you have produced before it gets sent to the rightful purchaser, all in a few steps. If you managed to keep your operation quiet and only sold to SR buyers, it would be very difficult for you to get tracked down, would it not? IP trace isn't very accurate, so I suppose that would just leave the bitcoin transactions that would be risky?

If you didn't have any safe people or didn't want to have to trust anyone in selling your wares, would this not be the better alternative?

It is safer to sell on that site than it is too buy.
If you did everything to stay anon, such as public wifi, TAILS liveDisc operating system, etc and also scrambled* the bitcoins you received before turning them into cash I think it would be safe..

Scrambling or mixing bitcoins is important IMO when it comes to this...

Also worth a read: http://anonymity-in-bitcoin.blogspot.com/2011/07/bitcoin-is-not-anonymous.html

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Mixing_Services also that.. with this one: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_Fog seeming like the best? I am not sure as I am only a spectator and study this to some extent but never participate.

Government proposes ignoring drug science
Dec.06, 2010 By: Davy in Bureaucracy, Regulation, Science, War on Drugs

From the Guardian:

Ministers will not be required to seek the advice of scientists when making drug classification policy in future, under new government proposals.

uughh!

Honestly, I’m losing energy with this shit. It’s summed up perfectly by a comment I saw on another site:

“Science gets in the way of disinformation.”

Well precisely… Hammer, meet this nail’s head.

. I’m getting even more apathetic than usual. Does anybody have a positive vision of the possible future for this country?
