Dimethocaine was nice, quite smoothe, with a nice rush insufflated. Got a gram for about 12 quid, lasted a couple of days, taking little bumps whenever I wanted a bit of a boost, and some plugged, and lines snorted...quite a light experience, if that makes sense, but satisfying none the less.
As for the cardiotoxicity, so is coke. The cardiac effects are due to the local anaesthetic effects. Lidocaine, for example is a clinically used class II antiarrythmic drug. For a cocaine analog, that retains the local anaesthetic properties of coke, the cardiotoxic effects are intrinsic. The lower the potency as a euphoriant, the more drug must be taken to gain the effects, thus more sodium channel blockade.
Think of it this way-If for example, one has a coke analog of half the potency of coke, with local anaesthetic effects, the cardiac toxicity should be doubled, in the absence of other factors. If one has a drug of twice the potency, the cardiac load of Na channel blockade should be halved. etc.
