Leaving metadata in digital images posted here is the height of folly

The metadata can be viewed using different means, but the simplest way for most is to use software written for that purpose such as EXIFViewer:

There are also many ways to remove this data, freeware for doing so can be found at:

A great and lightweight free program for this is " JPEG & PNG Stripper" found at h**p://www.steelbytes.com/?mid=30
Some people don't bother with such methods, they just use a text editor such as Notepad to find and remove the metadata
