I sometimes wonder about impurities, esp if its someone else's product, and the someone else is unknown

the last time I had a heavy metal test (a while ago 10yrs) although I grew up in the city with lots of cars and leaded petrol, my Pb levels were ND (not detected) :o
Hg was Trace amounts (not measurable)

the winner was Cadmium ??? go figure? I just dont know where the exposure came from, unless it was the paint in the house I grew up in...I didnt chew pencils :P and I didnt lick eat the paint ::)

So now being more familiar with whats required to make things "clean" and pure, I wonder how dirty a lot of commercial MDxx is? and everything else- (outside of Holland  ;D)

After all, folks usually test for the compounds they want, not the ones they dont, so aside from various mp assays seen, I cannot recall seeing any street drugs being tested for impurities, and I can people cutting corners, so to speak, to get a product to market... :-\
(I dont spend much time with forensic journals, although I have read some very interesting articles in a few, so please pardon my ignorance here :P)

People talk od MDxx's neurotoxicity, and yet I wonder how many other "things" are left over that might in themselves be far worse like Hg Al compounds which arent readily metabolised...and are accumulated in the body
