indicator for spiked drinks

My friend went out drinking on friday. Some girl came up to us and started talking to my friend. He went home with her looking happy and not drunk at all. He woke up the next morning missing his diamond-rolex, jewlery, phone and cash. the cunt took it all and he dont remember anything.

Is there any indicator that can be used to drip into drinks while you are out drinking? Preferably a drinkable type that you drip into your drink as its mixed so that a color change happens as soon as someone adds naughty ingredients to it.

That's a very old trick  ;)  The most commonly used compound suitable for spiking drinks is chloral hydrate:

but there are others that are described in the attached article :P  The easiest way to detect s spiked drink is the bitter taste and peculiar odor the compound imparts to the beverage  :-X  It can be hazardous to take strange women home in more than one manner 8)

usually missing your rolex, money, and jewlery is a pretty good indicator.
and remember, the first symptom of aids is a pounding sensation in the ass.

Best prevention is to drink out of a bottle and not a cup... and never let it leave your sight. Or just don't drink... alcohol is a terrible drug. Beer, wine, and fine liquors may taste wonderful but the effects make more than a taste not worth it.

In a study of supposed spiked drink date rape victims in England, nearly 99% tested positive only for alcohol. Your mood and your environment can actually affect your tolerance (this famously applies to heroin). If you're feeling tired, or in a new environment, take it easy.

Its fairly usual to have some drinks when going on a bend with some mates.....and pulling up an indicator card every time one takes a zip will be complicated in the late hours when standing straight is a mission itself. would it be possible to spike the drink yourself with an indicator thats non toxic so that even when my eyes have swapped sockets the alarm will go off when your rum and coke turns into a campari?

Just don't let your drink out of your sight and don't have more than a drink or two so you don't get stupid and easy to exploit. Leaving your drink alone has bad idea written all over it, put that shit on top of the urinal if you have to take a piss. If it's a social thing just take a drink every time your friends do, they usually notice that you took a drink but not how much. You can use this trick when you're there for business, take a lot of sips and watch them hammer down the wine. You'd be amazed how many people fall for this one. They get stupid and start spilling the beans while you remain relatively sober and able to take full advantage of it.
