Briefly, under the influence of a handful of amphetamines and phenethylamines and a particular tryptamine.

Visual hallucinations along with the rest that goes with it on a mixture of several grams of whizz, rectally, along with a mixture of EtOEt, and some yopo snuff I brought to a party.

Oh..And 'sblood only KNOWS how much EtOH, and a couple of GOOD (actually my first ever) MDMA pills. IIRC I was about 14-15 at the time.

Fucking hell, the comedown was hideous. Ended up more or less catatonic for quite a while. Ended up paying a tenner for an 8th of speed. At that price, I was foolish enough at that age to use that as a guideline. Shouldn't have, that was some of the most bloody well lethal 'phet I have ever had dealings with. A bump about twice the size of a match head would have literally bloody well flattened me, let alone plugging around an 8th of the stuff. (UK base speed, not n-CH3-phet, its usually amphetamine sulfate, served as a gooey, stinky paste, and not infrequently quite bloody strong)

I was coming down for literally more than two weeks. I don't know as I've done any speed since that day.

i use symptoms as indication when to not have any more, or indeed take more. Some of the symptoms are highlighted as psychosis symptoms in the paper.
Sometimes hard hard to trust how good you feel at the time and wanting to get higher with how high and off your tits you really already are.

Amphetamine sulphate to me, taking to much makes me spew only. over 300mg in one go,.huey.
i feel the same on 100mg as 300mg, difficulty urinating on the higher dose the only extra symptom.
I dont have a tolerance as im a very occassional user, its my bodyweight been above norm meaning i take slightly more for a active dose.
Psychosis effects do appear after prolonged use for me, eg 4-5 days and nights without sleep at all i was sat there chilling watching kalaedoscope yellow balls bounce lazily off my livingroom walls like soft rubber, thought fuck it need some sleep and laid back with a spliff, to notice the artex ceiling shimmering and moving silver in colour like a calm ocean.
I just giggled at it, id been getting shadows jumping out corner of my eyes for over a day, auditory hallucinations on and off (kept hearing music that was indicitive of my state of mind, message tone on phone, front door), massive senses of empathy, connection with world events.

I dont really rate it tbh. Id not do a dose tsathoggua mentioned to achieve the level what other drugs can reach in far smaller amounts and timeframe. as a pure substance (several grams) it would likely kill at that dose.Uk street quality is less than 10% usually.

2-300mg mda feels better.
large doses, ive been completely dissacoiated, full blown hallucinations auditory visual and mental, it felt like i was ~everything~ a singular entity of the entire universe, complete peace understanding and knowledge and i discovered god lol (good job that wore off eh) i was left stunned when i regained my mentality for several hours while coming down from the after effects of the emotional overload. but in a good way.

Set and setting have so much to do with your experience, and your state of mind at the time.

Tsathoggua, im curious as to your chosen method to ingest it is that a preferred method for you and why?

i could fill this thread

i was about a year on doses of amphetamine sulfate, and ended up with a tolerance id take several grams just to fight fatigue, otherwise i wasnt able to survive a day what i had to do these times.
I even used due to tolerance doses that are probably in every case deadly as it was in a scale of more than a dozen grams usually just to not falling asleep everywhere everytime for about two-four weeks when the "so called withdrawal" set in.
The withdrawal from amphetamine is different to that from methamphetamine:
no depression, just eating and sleeping all the time. usually i sleep 12-14 hours at night the first week, at day several naps to come at at least 16 hours sleep a day. I was even so tired, i woke up, lighted a cig, and after 2-3 times smoking on it i felt asleep suddenly while sitting, and the cigarette burn a hole in the couch

amphetamine withdrawal is rather a funny lazy time if you got plenty of weed on hand

nothing to compare with methamphetamine withdrawal which leaves you severe depressed.

B6baddawg, it isn't exactly a preferred method, it was just convenient, and it is efficient. Probably not far off, or maybee even equal to an IM injection for most drugs, it hits fast, and bioavailability/absorption is generally pretty good. Toady doesn't rate releaser type stimulants generally at all. He isn't big into stimulants to begin with, truth bee told, but when he does take them he prefers selective DARIs by far, or triple reuptake inhibitors ala cocaine.

As far as MDA goes, Tsathoggua has never tried MDA, only MDMA and bk-MDMA. He isn't really wired up right for entactogens, being autie, the emotional and perceptive shifts either one induces feel forced to him, and very fake and artificial.

From what he reads, MDA is quite a bit different to its n-methyl homolog, or methylone. He is willing to give it a go at least the once. He might just start the oximation of helional today after he has got enough sleep

Back in the 80's, me and some friends of mine used to drink beer and snort amphetamine sulfate (white powder) and stay up all night playing chess or playing frisbee out in the street, among other things you might do on amphetamines.

I used to synthesise things all the time, i was really never again so labour-concentrated deeply, i have done everything i could, just not to leave the lab for shopping and else.
I even oxidized formalin when i was in need of formic acid, paid a taxi driver to get some muriatic acid at the hardware store and stuff...
I would have done ANYthing just not to leave the lab, i spent sometimes 20 hours a day/night in the lab, only to spend the rest of the day in front of the puter...
Nothing fuels synthesis so well than this stuff! Really nothing! Meth makes lazy and pushes ones ego too much, but amphetamine makes one the perfect worker.

Meth induces lazyness? first time toady has heard of that one!

Tsathoggua isn't particularly into stimulants, although he does make use of them functionally sometimes. Many of them do not agree with him at all. Naturally his appetite is low, and he reacts really badly to even short periods of sleep deprivation. And he has a problem with myoclonus, for which he takes clonidine (and takes it to prevent overloading of the autie variety)

Stimulants with significant noradrenergic activity are in particular, bad news;
and uncomfortable to boot.

Its primarily releasers he dislikes, selective DA reuptake inhibitors, or to a degree, DA agonists, as long as the binding profile is decent are far nicer in his experience.
