Just thought i'd pop over to this forum to share my passion with y'all, as my name implies, i am an amphetamine chemist, and i am interested mostly in the structure and development of these compounds. Hopefully i can learn alot here and share my interests and passions with you all.

If they nab you guys, then i'll leave, i don't mind... Either way, like i said, i am fascinated with the manufacture of amphetamine and it's derivatives. Right now i am in the process of attempting to make some P2P with a Friedel-Crafts reaction between benzene and chloroacetone.. Any help would be much appreciated, until then, i can help other members with methedology and by helping out if they need me.

When i make P2P i would like to take it from there to produce a number of interesting compounds.

When i make drugs, i mostly go by the commercial recipie, and by that i mean from commercial sources, i find it is easier and accurate that way.
