Rid me of my worries

So I was hanging out with a few friends and drinking some beers on a Friday night. I was offered marijuana and figured I would take one hit (not much of a fan of weed) just for a little taste. Well then a few days later on Tuesday I was asked to pee in a cup by my employer. What do you think the results will be? I have a lot of anxiety about this and having some input on this will relieve a lot of worries. Anyone have a pretty good idea or an experience of what will happen? I'm 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs.

Marijuana Detection Time and Half-Life of TetraHydraCannabinol

The half life of THC concentration is about 10 days. There is way too much variation to even approximate how long THC will be detected in the urine of an individual. Infrequent users with a fast metabolism will have the shortest detection time. Frequent or chronic users with a slow metabolism will have the longest detection times. The only way to estimate a detection time is to consider the lower and upper bounds (3-50 days), and estimate based on the factors outlined here.

Marijuana Detection Time Based on Usage
Usage at 1 time only 5-8 days
Usage at 2-4 times per month 11-18 days
Usage at 2-4 times per week 23-35 days
Usage at 5-6 times per week 33-48 days
Daily Usage 49-63 days

Note: Detection times vary depending on many factors, including drug potency, tolerance, patient’s condition, fluid intake at time oftest, method and frequency of marijuana use, body type, metabolism, exercise frequency and many others.

Ah yes, I was hoping for a definitive answer but your post did help by making me realize there is no definitive answer. It really varies and narrowing it down to the exact day is nearly impossible. That is all my research has ended me up with so far; the fact it will take anywhere from 0-10 days in my situation. I just wonder what exactly a one time usage is considered because to me 1 and 5 hits are a hell of a difference for a 4 day detection period. Oh well, wish me luck!

Be thankful you're not on probation, brah. If you fail you will "only" lose your job, but at least you won't go to jail.

It was pretty good weed, purple-ish, although I'm not sure what strain. Literally just one hit from a bowl, such a stupid idea but boy does your judgement suck when your drinking. Got pretty high tho : ) (yeah my tolerance is as low as it could ever be and I'm quite sensitive to weed hence why I don't like it that much) and I am on probation too but they really don't drug test me ever (thank god) ... I just hope word doesn't get back to them :o

get some soap and shampoo containing polyquaternium-11 and cocamidopropyl betaine if your test throws a positive and demand your employer test the product.. if they simply sack you do a bit of homework, claim unfair dismissal .. you dont touch drugs .. no drug test is infallable see here http://news.yahoo.com/baby-soaps-and-shampoos-trigger-positive-marijuana-tests.html
