what do you need to know? solvent for gassing or solvent for rextallization....?

Most gas directly into whatever solvent they used to extract with after it has been dried with MgSO4. Toluene, Xylene, Ether, Pet ether and most other non-polar solvents will work. MDA.HCl is partially soluble in DCM, which is one exception to the NP rule, so avoid that solvent for gassing.
Any water in your NP solvent will inhibit crystal formation to some extent, and you will end up with a cloudy solution instead, with a syrup settling out over time.

Toluene, Xylene, Ether, Pet ether will work.
Add dry HCl gas to freebase MDA in any of the above (dry) solvents and it will work (.) PERIOD! No other rules apply.

i remember a discussion at the hive when strike book came out, because strike stated that one should gas on DCM....
which was contraversial, from the discussion that i remember form the hive archives, the conclusion was that DCM is not so good for MDMA but as i remeber its the best for MDA....
will try to find the posts.... strike himself comented on that subject if im not mistaken....

I recall it but I am sure antibody is right when he says gassing will be ok in toluene or any other similar solvent
