I'm not sure if many people here have heard of http://sci-hub.org/. It seems to have undergone a recent redevelopment and for now it is a very good service. To retrieve a reference simple paste in the article URL or DOI and it will direct you to the journal site proxied through some university proxy. If the university it direct you via doesn't have access simple click the refresh button on the right side of the screen to try another until you get access.

I think this will help a lot of us amateur scientist's on this site and saves the time for people to just retrieve references that are difficult to find access to online.

Happy dreaming...

Everytime this gets posted on a public board Sci-Hub breaks, slows down or becomes useless due to server load.

More people, more bandwidth and usually no new donations.

Just something to think about.
