Scales, weighing, and packaging?

How do you make sure your scale is level? You personally.

Also, how do you package your powders in pill capsules? I find this extremely hard

You find it hard to package OUR powders into pill capsules? Is it because we won't let you near our powders?

God damn, I just can't catch a break =p

I meant...............!

Leveling on the scale, not the surface. For example, my scale has a thing inside it that weighs by force, (God this sounds so stupid, I wish I knew the real term) so when tilted it cannot read it properly, how do you make sure the weighing mechanism isn't tilted internally was what I was asking.

Jeez. Did you not read my post mate? I said internally. I figured you guys might know of some past experience how to fix your scale?

My scale has been fucking up lately...one item is .05 grams.... the next try its .06 grams... I just wanted a weigh (=P) to make it more accurate.

I'm currently waiting for money to come my way so I can buy a proper scale.

? Did you read your post ;D

It says how can I make the internal mechanism stop messing up when its tilted.... Make sure its level.

Sounds to me like you may have droped it or mis treated you scale though at one point or another. Either way .01 <> is not a bad accuracy at all. The one I use came from harbor freight and I make sure its cleaned and packed up back in its box when Im done with it as should everyone with there scale. It has been good to me for some time and it only cost me about 12$ reading to .1 accuracy.

... Dilutions can help with percent error?

I.e weight out x amount of grams and dilute in a solution, and then take the needed solution...
so say 2.00grams - even if your off .05 it shouldn't be that much over if you dissolve it in say 1000mls and then only take the needed amount of mL's for a dose -- least that is how I would go about doing if it i were to go about doing it.

lol didn't think that through.

I hear that law enforcement agencies have some VERY precise scales. Perhaps you could ask to borrow one of theirs, or maybe even ask them to do it for you. I'm sure they'd help take it off your hands.

does swiyou have a capsule filler? is the 2ce a free-flowing salt? if so, any other free flowing excipient mixed together to occupy the excess volume will do, such as lactose, mcc, etc. experimentation will dictate how much excipient is necessary, once thouroughly mixed, pour into caps, not sure if this is a good route for small doses with big volumes eg: 10mg active per size 00 cap, may be tough to be consistant per cap as even mixing and the active's flowability must be even more spot on under such conditions

I think that can be normal, if your scale reads to two decimal places, The actual weight could be 0.055 +/- 0.001 hence you weigh it once, and your getting the 0.05, and the next the 0.06   Sorry if this has been mentioned...
