Anybody here have a guard dog?

I am now in the market for something that keeps everyone away. I am thinking over 3 main choices.

Over bred pit/great dane cross- Easy to find parents for. The dogs should end up huge and intimidating but not really being all that. Should still allow the occasional visitor.

Game pit/performance neo mastiff cross- Impossible to find good neos these days. Show breeding gets you worthless animals. This has been a popular cross, in those circles.

Game pit/fila mastiff cross- If you have ever known someone with a fila, especially an imported, you know that these are not great danes and no joke. Way better then a neo. This should be a bandog from hell.

I am pretty set on the last one.

Anyone else have a dog?

Anyone have geese and dogs?

Got a pit, if someone broke in and stepped on him whilst coming through the window he "MIGHT" bite (probably just give them a hurt expression as if to say "what did you do that for?" & go back to sleep)...

If you want a guard dog, one that will actually bark, get a shitzu/maltese cross - if you want something intimidating to run with it - that will bite when the Shitzu/Maltese says it's ok - get a doberman

Yeah I think I may have to take issue with the saying that it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.
