The future of forums?

Well, I figure eventually there will be some technology that replaces forums - but what could it be? Think forums will fast forever?

Old farts like me,
being creatures of habit,
and seeking solace from personages of equal antiquity and having the same friends
will continue to haunt places like this.

Also, younger smart asses with something to prove will drop thru..

Relationships will be retained,
but those less committed,
wanting to get screwed by something wet and libidinous,
will more likely haunt the UToob and social networking places.

Alternatively, perhaps we'll all learn to communicate directly,
and be done with this typing shit.

Surgically installed nano mind devices that allow us to tap into the collective conscious of everyone anytime we wish to?

I think Virtual reality chat rooms/Librarys will be the future of forums. 3D glasses and a total imurshion into the cyberworld. It links the chat room with the face to face communication while still allowing anonimity.
There once were some bees and you took all there stuff!
You pissed off the wasp now enough is enough!!!
