Hi everyone-

Spent a couple days reviewing this site and who's around here.  You have done well with this place.
I was an 'orphan' bee and I see I've been taken in by wasps... so to speak.  There's a decent brain trust here and I hope to have a good time
collaborating on stuff with all of you.  I see many familiar names here and some I have known from other forums.  Been posting at DF mostly since the Hive days and I've been over to SM & WD also.  I'm into novel chemistry transformations and the development of OTC methods to carry them out privately.  My areas of expertise are in the field of chemistry, of course, but also US drug law (CSA), as well as some (past) business experience in chemical marketing & commercial process development.

BTW:  This place really has a nice 'flavor' to it.  The Wasp concept is right on point, too.  Dont most bees lose their stingers and die when they battle?
.....Wasps just keep on stinging!!  -  Anyway, if anyone here recognizes me from elsewhere, PM me- it may take me a while to notice who all is here, but I like what I see so far.    X-Out.

.......as a former bee i recognize your name and your contributions over at the Hive....destructive distillation with lead acetate comes to mind. I hope your stay here is a good experience ....i too have been putting roots at DF SM WD and others , but have recently been staying here longer.... will look forward to your contribution ....at the time i try to keep up with the requested references , so if there is any references needed  i will be here to assist ....do take care......java aka. solo

It feels good when you dont have to swim doesnt it ?  :P

Yeah, Java - and I've read lots by you as well.  Thanks for the implied compliment and I will remember to direct lit requests your way.. It's a luxury I often dont have!
This is real good company to hang out in - You were right, QD  - and yes, 'swimming' sometimes had me so frustrated I couldn't tread water !!

Seems to be more brains less waffle for some reason (myself excluded of course)... I am giving Java plenty of work at the moment during my enforced Rest & Recuperation (giving the search engines a hammering too).
