I received my chemicals... (NOT)
« on: January 23, 2010, 10:25:32 PM »
Sorry for the new account, I have seemed to forgot my password for my old account (JohnSanders) and it was the same password as the e-mail account I had set up for it.

I received my chemicals I ordered a few months back from a sketchy chemical supplier I found on a b2b network site. I opened the small letter and it was my invoice for the chemicals, but no chemicals.

It didn't seem to be tampered with, unless they opened it, took the chemicals out, and then glued it back. Though this doesn't seem logically.

The only thing I can think of is this guy is fucking ripping me off. He even wrote "Let us know when you received the package." And on the front of the envelope he wrote what should have been inside.  I guess its not that big of a deal, but its still not a chemical you want to be out there.

What do you guys think?

1 of 3 things have probably happened, (1) depending upon whether it is a local (defined as within your Country of origin) site, or an import chemical - it may have been intercepted & opened by either Customs or the DEA; or (2) the supplier may have shipped the chemical directly to Customs or the DEA to cover their own ass, while sending you a letter to put you off the scent; or (3) you have been ripped off, plain & simple.

Whichever has happened, if it is (1) or (2) I'd be expecting a 'controlled delivery' to occur, in which situation I'd suggest you make FUCKING DAMN SURE your house and surrounding area are clean as two whistles and you don't accept delivery of the parcel (fuck it, it's gone - it ain't worth doing time for, trust me). When the controlled delivery goes 'wrong', you can expect to be handed a warrant by large, armed men, who will want you to explain the transaction (they'll know about it). Say nothing, you ain't gonna get bail without a fight and saying ANYTHING will make that even less likely to succeed. Grab a lawyer and explain the situation, if the transaction is legitimate and not specifically prohibited by law, you'll walk provided you don't say anything dumb (like that you thought it was like a listed drug and that it was represented to you as being similar - thus triggering the Analogue Act and bringing a whole world of shit down on your head).

If you don't get a 'controlled delivery', then (3) the vendor has ripped you off most likely (or the DEA/Customs have merely seized them, and are letting you decide to take them to Court - big tip, DON'T). Make sure if this happens that the vendor's name, site and other interesting information is spread far and wide as a rip-off merchant.

How long do you think it'd take for a controlled delivery?

How long do you think it'd take for a controlled delivery?

Anything up to a month, although that would be highly unusual, generally they happen pretty quick (within a week)... I once got rudely awakened @10am (I was working nights) by a large police officer, who said "We have intercepted a parcel, we believe it to contain drugs, is it yours?"... Having just awakened I had to think for a moment, hmmm, parcel, drugs, police have it, DO I OWN IT? WTF??? My reply, as one might expect, was "Sorry, no can't think of anything like that... Can I help you any further? If not I really need my rest"

Police are Bureaucrats, despite them thinking otherwise... They have to act within the bounds of their employment (although don't ever expect that to save you), but are governed from on high by the lord high bureaucrats, who determine how much time and effort they can expend on any situation or case, thus they tend to act quickly, without the amount of thought one probably could expect. That said, they have brains, they just ain't that hard to think around, put simply, they need results, without them they are forced to leave some people alone in order to attain the results expected of them. Unfortunately, the public service is ruled by 'bean counters' who set performance indicators, number of arrests/amount of drugs seized/given amount of funding, understanding that is the key to a long, healthy, and more importantly free life.

Make yourself unattractive as a target, ie. low likelihood of drugs on the premises or other unlawful/illegal activity, high probability of formal complaints vis-a-vis harassment & even higher probability of acquittal if they fuck up and they will target anyone else before they target you. All those things aggravate the 'bean counters', as being counter-productive, wastes of resources and tending to bring the service into disrepute, etc. People who upset 'bean counters' in these ways can look forward to long careers in their current or lesser rank.

You need to realize that PT Barnum's old adage that there's a sucker born every minute is alive and well on the internet  ::)  There simply aren't any easy ways to acquire chemicals in this day and age, it's time for you to rethink your plans to account for people that rip others off  8)
Chemistry is our Covalent Bond

the thing is there are certain red flags you gotta pay attention to once you figure that put it's smooth sailing
