esterification reactions are the easiest to perform of any in o-chem.
i always use a 10 fold by weight excess of anhydride no matter what substrate i'm dealing with.
i tried less and failed this is an equilibrium reaction you need a gross excess despite what others would tell you.
can't knock expirimentation that is what works.
heat this along with a solvent like acetone in a sealed vessel at 80-100C for around 6 hours for secondary alcohols and 3 hours for tertiary alcohols this is a secondary alcohol so use 6 hours.
you can use a higher boiling solvent like toulene or perchloroethylene or just the anhydride itself as a solvent.
that stuff will get you high as hell.
i gave two guys a bowl of it to smoke they each took one hit and immediately ran out for some fast food shit is powerful.
no those synthetic cannabinoids are different altogether in quality.
