Si la persona que hizo la traduccion en el otro foro, hace lo mismo con esta,
le agradezco de antemano.

Que es el certificado boink2 ? me salio una ventana pidiendo que lo instalara.

En Mexico Existen una tabletas de liberacion prolongada, que contienen 6 mg de Maleato de Dexbromfeniramina, y 120 mg de Sulfato de pseudoefedrina.

Tienen de nombre afrinex, y las fabrica Schering Plo. , la tableta consta segun dice
de dos capas, una que se libera al instante y otra que se libera a las 6 horas ...

Un amigo, ha tratado de extraer de estas pastillas, la pseudo, utilizando la tecnica de Acido/Base. Siguiendo este proceso :

1.- Muele y disuelve en agua las tabletas En agua ligeramente acidulada, PH=4
2.- Filtra y separa el liquido.
3-. Basifica el liquido hasta PH=14
4 .- hace Extraccion con tolueno,
5.- Evapora el tolueno y Sorpresa, no se obtiene ni un solo miligramo de pseudo.

Al momento de basificar, la fase acuosa, aparece un precipitado amarillo.
pero este al parecer es insoluble en la fase acuosa y en la fase organica

Alguien tiene idea de que es lo que esta mal ?
Alguien sabe si afrinol es igual que afrinex ?

SWIM has tried to extract the pseudoephedrine sulfate , using the acid/base technique. following this process:

2.-filtered and liquid separated
3.-basify the liquid to PH 14
4.-then the organic layer extracted with toluene
5.-the toluene is removed and surprise , not even one miligram of psudo.

During the basing , the water phase, there appeared a yellow precipitateand it seems insoluble in both the water and the organic layer.

Does someone have any idea what went wrong?
Does anyone know if Afrinol is the same as Afrinex?
