CTH catalyst exchange Pd/C for Pt,Pd/Al2O3?

can i exchange my degussa 10% Pd/C in a formiate CTH for a Platinum/Palladium catalyst on Al2O3 pellets, if so, would i have to make any modifications regarding preload etc.?
