Sam: your postings are Never going to persuade, The_Dude, M_T, Pik, Anime, Star_Light, or any others into seeing things your way. So do everyone including yourself a favour and pick up a few journals, or search a few patent databases, hell, do some worth while work on microwave isomerization. The same goes for everyone else, now that we all know how y'all feel about socio-political issues. Thank you for your time, and your concerns. Now that we know where everyone stands we can move on to more important issues.
Don't think for a minute that this board will harbour your political arguments, many of you have been banned once or twenty times on numerous boards for this behaviour. I don't personally plan on banning anyone because you all historically have the ability to contribute positively to the chemistry forums. So instead of wasting your own, the boards, and everyone elses time and bandwidth by posting such worthless drivel, perhaps you can contribute to the board in other ways, kind of like how it used to bee. I have no problem with argument, I learned more from hive arguments then you can imagine. I have yet to converse with anyone that learned anything from a political or religious argument on any chemistry related board.
I am all for free speech, just speak somewhere else. There are plenty of right wing, left wing, communist, socialist, republican, independent, libertarian, and even a few W.I.G. forums where your arguments will be greeted with open arms, by those that have the knowledge, and understanding to converse intellectually, to challenge or embrace your arguments.
Why bring these topics up in a chemistry forum?
Afraid that your arguments would never stand a chance against a forum whose member base is predominantly political scientists?

This sort of abusive crap does not contribute in any way to building a community. I'm gonna look elsewhere. Maybe WD, maybe DF. Anyone who knows of any decent forum, let me know.
