pseudo/ephedrine phosphate/acetate instead of HCl or fb

all this discussion recently here and at other forums (ayahuasca.com and dmtworld.org) of phosphate salts got me thinking... is there any reason why pseudo/ephedrine phosphate would not be suitable for baking a PIE? since it is already known that phosphate ions don't interfere with the reaction... and for that matter, now that i think about it, the acetate would be suitable too since it is a proven solvent for PIE baking.

Don't know the answer but most likely not. What would be the reasoning in doing this?
On the subject of acetate or phosphate salts it has been considered to increase relative weight. What do you know about the properties of these 2 salts of the finished product??
Some of the acetate salt of the reduced methylated product was made as a test. It was very difficult to dry but once dried was failrly stable in higher humidity. It was soluble to some extent in undried toluene because when GAA was added to the base in PhMe no crystals separated therefor a water extract was resorted to.
It had a slightly different taste with much less nasal burn than the HCl salt. Smoking was not tried. The phosphate salt will be tried when the acid is acquired

damn, i kinda just expected that the acetate would be hygroscopic, but it's not... that would be the owning salt to convert the product into, less damage to the old teeth from vapourous acetic acid
swim is pretty sure the phosphate is extremely hygroscopic from experiment
