| guess I am going to have to get the old biotech of filamentous fungi book out for all of you to see how to correctly do the culture as of recent, not saying this liturature isn't informative. The process is better done in front of a laminar pref to avoid contams, and usually when stock culture isn't used gentamycin sulfate is used in agar to kill off bacteria allowing for a sterile culture to be obtained. A t-s slant is pref to get it to grow before liquid culture is innocculated by the fungus. |

That would be awesome, please do. Before all this, it seemed like some people randomly said claviceps worked great and some randomly said it didn't. |

| oh wow thats a good read. The one by mantle describes how to get 5mg/ml of erogtamine in a submerged culture. More of the actual nutrient workup. You had a good read though. Can we get that in the archives? |

| Can enyone have more pages form book from 1-st post ??? mabey 190...x pages ? there is writen how to select claviceps culture... mabey someone know how to do it? to indicate and select culture that giwes highest yelds of ergotamine? |
