Getting rid of SWIM's equipment

Hey all,
Swim has gotten tired of dreaming, is moving to another city to pursue academic interests, and has decided not to bring along his imaginary personal lab. Throwing it out seems like such a waste, and Swim was wondering if anyone out there has some ideas about how to best get rid of it to another worker bee, without jeapordizing Swim's own safety.
Swim does not live in the USA, but in a northern, neighbouring country. He has potential buyers in the US but figures that US customs be all over any shipments.
Swim figures that finding a new owner for it in his own country would be best, but wonders how to go about doing this... where to advertise? Ship it, or arrange for face to face meetings?
Anyone with any suggestions or experience in hypothetically transfering ownership of labware, please help Swim out! |

raybeez believe swim on this you there will come a time when youll want your ol dreamin habits back...swim had to depart w a LOT of equip in the past, real quick so your best bet are those low profile adds on the net or in some local newspapers, but it depends on where you are atm.
the only thing swim regrets is that he didnt rent a safebox for his equip...maybe you should do that |

outside of share'n warnings.from research.
it's always a sad day to hear part of a story. because the other part did'nt get a chance
to continue.."or be told".
listen to your frist mind.
most the time it tells a bee right. |

Swim thanks everyone for advice to his imaginary situation.
From what he knows, his equipment is legal in the place where he resides, so local paper ads might be a good bet.. its a small place though, and he is skeptical about the existance of other friendly bees in town.
Swim will probably look into his fav. auction site, and specify only shipping within his country. True that Swim might one day desire to dream again, but Swim knows he has the means to accumulate his collection again, as he is a very patient bee.
If any bee is truly curious as to what Swim might have, and think they live in his country, feel free to drop him a line. |

Don't meet face to face do it via post shipping, insure the package and send it to someone within your country.
Don't put a sender adress on it. |
