| Get synthetika to transfer the domain to someone not within Australia. They actually have laws against dissemination of narcotics information in .au so that's not really the best place to host the site. I'd transfer the domain to somewhere with a little freer speech and just mirror the site out to whatever new host was chosen. Actually I don't even see why he cares. If you are the host of a site of this nature you will receive attention. Look at Uncle Fester, that bastard is under almost constant scrutiny due to the books he has publish, but he keeps his cool and just goes about his buisness. Sites like this will always receive attention, you can't just go closing up shop because they start watching you. Hell, getting constant attention from the man just because of running a site would be kind of fun if you really were clean. Better than the hum-drum day to day work life of your average salaryman. |

| Even though they are slow, the site could ultimately be moved to an I2P network. Sure we might have to cut down on the graphics...etc..etc but we would still be able to trade valuable information. |

New Downloadable Rhodium Archive, as of, um, ten minutes ago:
<I'll put another version of this up before too long>
Uh, more stuff will be available later. I promise.

Yeah, I have copies of the DB on a few different systems (redundancy is our friend), but they represent a collective effort that is not mine to hoard. It will be dispersed to all who contributed, and to those who didn't. Taking the site offline when we've only got a few days left when they've apparently been watching for a month doesn't ring well with me. If they were looking for something/someone, they've had time to find it by now. A few days isn't going to hurt anyone (at this point), but it will give our members a chance to gather all the data they can. I feel we owe them at least that much.
As far as your opinion on the studies that have been conducted, that's not your call to make. Regardless of what you think about it, work has been done, and many hours have been spent writing up the results, doing the research, etc. It may not be revolutionary, may not be groundbreaking, but it is progress, and we will make a decided effort to pick up where we left off.

No argument here. I agree completely. Unfortunately, he didn't let anyone know, not even the staff, until much later. Not cool. |

| Java, the way it works is as follows: You register a domain name (register domain), then you procure hosting (web hosting), let your host know what your domain is and get it transferred over (so they have DNS access to it), then they allot you a given amount of storage and bandwidth for your use. You put your files up, and they take care of the behind-the-scenes work. Voila! You now have a net-site on the Intar-web. |

| Can anyone make a Rar of this new Rhodium archive... https://www.synthetikal.com/Rhodiums_pdfs/chemistry/advanced.html with all the PDFs just incase it somehow becomes inaccessible? I really like that layout. If not, I guess I'll just rip it (and other parts of the site) in a little bit. |

Download locations listed in
. The Rhodium archive doesn't have the /pdf/ directory (but the advanced version is included in there), on account of it's three-hundred-plus-fucking-megs, and I can't download, rar, and then upload that from where I'm at right now. But you can access the directory manually at https://www.synthetikal.com/Rhodiums_pdfs/pdf/ to get what you need. Sorry I can't offer it all in one file, but that's the way it's gotta be for right now.

It says post 8760 doesn't exist. I'm using a trial version of a real nice web ripper, but it only allows 500 files to be d/l and I can't find a crack for it. Damn! |

There is an open invitation for the members here to join the wetdreams,
http://domain843172.sites.ecomediahost.com/forum/default.asp
as they've always had an open door for everyone. I'm sure that it's also the case for sciencemadness,
https://sciencemadness.org/
as we make our plans to leave our home since Feb,05,2005 not a long stay but it was always getting better, so many interesting topics and revisiting of old ones with some recent improvements, that it hurts, but we can carry on our discussions in the before said forums.
Information flows it's not stagnant , and neither are the members here so I will be seeing, actually reading , about all of your latest triumphs, and interests in the weeks and months ahead in the forums. So lets not say good bye but will be writing in other forums about our interest in this interesting world of organic chemisty.....................java |
