Maybe this is obvious, but if the site is to exist, it should be moved to another server.

Can we find a server in a non-U.S. country?

Who hosts the WD and other sites?

Is it possible to move the site without the "c-panel access"?

Will the site prosper with so much contraversy surrounding it, now?

Can the Adsense adds be brought back to pay for the site?

Someone has come through as hope, in the emergency and put forward there detials to fund the site, if it did indeed go down, and a big thankyou to that person,

Yes, the one that we all started,
The one that survived quite nicely untill members had to support the site, and not some add company.

Some of us are just concerned that if we should donate, that the money might find its way into your pocket. Most of use are greatful to you for starting a great site, but some bees might want some assurance that the money is going to the server.

maybe an open talk about funds?, but this is your site and we should give respect where deserved.

syn, the miracle you speak of is that you fucked up the cancellation of your hosting agreement and you card was billed for another month. no miracle at all.

oh yes syn, would you well tell us how come the police were to inform you of their subsequent steps? no LE agency does such a thing (if someone's got to know THAT, i'm that one if you know what i mean).

I know I havent dropped off my ass posting here,but i think i have a right to a couple of comments.

First-synthetika I dont care what is the real story behind this and after all of this drama I really dont give a shit.I was directed to this site by java i feb but those adds kept me from posting for a long time. advertisement and chemistry forums don’t go together,but this is YOUR ownership after all,and you will do as you please.

Secondly i agree w primathon here- choosing a server in america was a very irresponsible thing to do,and you have, intentionally or not doomed this little project in advance.

Also as a member here I think we have the right to some answers:
You say that LE contacted you.ok lets say I buy that.
Well I dunno about your prev exp w LE but I know (from my fucking personal exp) that they wouldn’t contact you at all unless:
a)you/the site was the main target
b)they were doing an investigation on someone else and they needed YOUR cooperation to nail that person.

Since youre not in jail would you be so kind to answer this question-if this story of yours is true have you given any member info to the LE or helped to get someone arrested? Why for fucks sake havent you informed the members of this site IN TIME that this site was under investigation?running a chem forum isnt a game and like it or not you had the RESPONCIBILITY to do so.youve should have pulled the plug immediately….that is if you havent cooperated w LE.

If this LE story is just a fairytale and you wanted to pull the plug for your personal reasons than thats as low as you could have gone.in that case you have intentionally put some of the members of this forum through a hell of a time.

Either way your acts,be it the add scam or just irresponsible behavior has killed this site.You have spat on all the effort of primathon,java,nubee and the rest of the members.you have spat on the "ideals" you were promoting.way to fucking go!
If you guys intend to go on running this site,it would be a good idead to pull some noses out their owners asses.

The forum belongs to the members.....lets not forget that, regardless of who started it , it has grown and become a good forum because of it's members. Lets put the add's back on and put the money into the forum for a larger ftp. and bigger amount of bandwidth. Administration should be voted in , not assumed because someone got a free board and started posting and also spend a few bucks to get it going. Many of us spend many hours without pay for what we do, time is money, so no one is above anyone else ........I suggest we elect our administrators as I suggested before and get this forum back in the growth column........java
