Subdomains

this isnt so much a security quesiton as it is a computer question in general
but when you have a subdomain of a website, like say www.thehive.synthetikal.com the subdomain being 'thehive', can you apoint email addresses that would use that subdomain in them instead of just @synthetikal.com ??
Or can emails not be appointed to individual subdomains? |

you can apoint a subdomain e-mail as far as I know. the subbdomains are considerd domains themselves... so an e-mail extention should work as it would with the short version.
if that makes sence. |
